If you’ve been walking the same old road for miles and miles

Jesus said in Matthew 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it."

If you’ve been hearing the same old voice tell the same old lies

Jesus said in John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

If you’re trying to fill the same old holes inside

Acts 17:26-27 and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.

If you’ve got pain, He’s a pain taker.

Matthew 8:17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: "He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases."

If you feel lost, He’s a way maker.

Jesus said in Luke 19:10 "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

If you need freedom or saving, He’s a prison-shaking Savior.

Acts 5:31 He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Galatians 5:1 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

If you’ve got chains, He’s a chain breaker.

Jesus said in Luke 4:18-19  "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord."

We’ve all searched for the light of day in the dead of night

Job 7:3-4 So am I allotted months of vanity, and nights of trouble are appointed me. “When I lie down I say, ‘When shall I arise?’ but the night continues, and I am continually tossing until dawn.

We’ve all found ourselves worn out from the same old fight

Jeremiah 9:5 "Everyone deceives his neighbor and does not speak the truth, They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They weary themselves committing iniquity."

We’ve all run to things we know just ain’t right

God says in Isaiah 55:2  “Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance."

Jeremiah 12:13 "They have sown wheat and have reaped thorns, They have strained themselves to no profit. But be ashamed of your harvest because of the fierce anger of the Lord."

And there’s a better life
There’s a better life
