50 Bible Verses to Memorize

50 Bible Verses to Memorize | scriptureand.blogspot.com

So, you've decided to begin memorizing Bible verses. You have seen the importance of memorizing Scripture and then decided to spend your time and effort on it.

However, even with good intentions, it's easy to get stalled on the next step: choosing the verses to memorize. I like to have a list of verses so that I don't have to choose a new verse every week (though there can be advantages to that). However, you are more likely to continue the habit of Bible memorization if you don't have to choose a verse each week as well.

Here is a list of verses that I have chosen for my son and me to memorize. I have chosen them because they are foundational verses on important topics. Below I have a checklist of the verses as well as a list of the verses in ESV and in NKJV.
