Bible Verses for Grace Wins
If you look up verses in the Bible about grace, you will discover something. Grace abounds. It overflows. Grace wins.
- Abundant grace was upon the disciples as they witnessed (Acts 4:33).
- God's grace is more than abundant (1 Tim. 1:14).
- God's gift of salvation abounds to many by grace (Rom. 5:15).
- Grace abounds even more than sin (Rom. 5:20-21).
- God's grace in forgiveness is lavished upon us (Eph. 1:6-7).
- God's grace in providing for us abounds to others in our giving (2 Cor. 9:8).
- The grace we receive is heaped upon the grace we have previously received (John 1:16).
One line of Matthew West's Grace Wins, says "I'm living proof that grace wins every time." While the source of the grace is God, our lives can prove the will of God (Rom. 12:2) and we can be trophies of His grace (Eph. 2:7). Even our charitable giving can prove our love and bring glory to God (2 Cor. 9:13). It isn't so much what we have done, but rather what God has done in us. The result is that our lives are testimonies of His grace and how it overcomes sin and the resulting guilt of sin.
